Just figured I throw something of my own. Been working with layers and had a few suggest the whole mosaic technique, for a lack of a better word. Not sure if I will continue with this, more experimental than anything else.
yeah, its the software. you can adjust how many times and image is used, spacing and even the shading. mind you, i just started experimenting and there is other software that might give me more control. part of the reason why i'm on the fence.
Looks good. How large would you print an image like that? Would it be something that would be printed large enough that the images within the image become blatantly apparent? Or would you print the image in smaller more intimate scale, so that someone would have to approach the image closely in order to begin to unravel the components?
holy shit. How long did it take you to make the mosaic image? is it software that picks and tones the images and places them where they need to be?

ReplyDeletesome food for thought. if i do keep on that path, i can see it being a big print, keeping the smaller fragments small enough to draw the viewer in.
